Eligibility for Registration

  1. Individual registration – Candidate must be an Emirati.
  1. Group registration – At least 1 Emirati candidate in the team. Team of maximum 5 individuals. All individuals have to be present during all meetings. All individuals must be UAE residents or a citizen.
  1. Participating individuals have to be of age 18 or above.

What is expected?

  1. Selected incubates are expected to attend all F&B Innovation Lab sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  1. Incubates agree to participate on all marketing and social media collateral as deemed necessary by F&B Innovation Lab.
  1. Incubate agrees to all Terms & Conditions as mentioned in the F&B Innovation Lab contract.

Key Dates of the Program

Start-up Weekend

Saturday, 11th June 2022 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

The F&B Innovation Lab 2.0 START-UP WEEKEND is a mandatory 1-day accelerated pre-program TRAINING DAY available to all SHORT-LISTED PROGRAM CANDIDATES, where you will be exposed to the FUNDAMENTALS OF THE UAE F&B INDUSTRY.
It is open to all program participants who are short-listed during the first screening phase of our Program. All SHORT-LISTED CANDIDATES who are required to attend this training day will be informed in advance.

Ideathon

Saturday, 18th June 2022 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

The IDEATHON is the second and crucial training program session developed for all Program Participants that F&B Innovation Lab 2.0 and Grainvelocity is pleased to offer to aspiring innovators. This is a mandatory Idea Generation session for the Program where candidates will work in teams to build lots of new IDEAS for their chosen CHALLENGE AREAS AND MANUFACTURERS.
The session needs to be attended by all short-listed Lab PROGRAM CANDIDATES who will be informed in advance. Representatives from program F&B MANUFACTURERS and program partners will attend this session.

5-Day Bootcamp

Monday, 27th June to Friday, 1st July 2022 (9:00am – 5:00pm each day)

This 5-day bootcamp is for SHORT-LISTED PROGRAM CANDIDATES/ TEAMS.
